I bought these speakers on the advice of a friend and found them be outstanding for use on my houseboat. Sound is great and very easy to mount.
After shopping everywhere for a set of speakers these were hands down the best bargin. I got these speakers for outside of my business. I will certainly buy another set in the spring.
Lots of salty air and occasional thunderstorms did not destroy them in 3 years of use (we've since sold the boat, so don't know how long they've lasted). We used these as cockpit speakers on a 37-foot cruising sailboat. Really good sound for the money, too (I'm not an audio freak, so may miss some nuances but they basically sounded good).
Returned them for a full refund and purchased a different set. Amazon rules. Speakers blew after about two hours of listening at moderate volume. Customer service was painless.
Speaker's sound fantastic, whether turned down low or up high. Easy to Mount, only problem was they didn't send the thumbnail screw's with it and one of the nut's broke loose like you have read in other reviews if you try to tighten too much.Overall very happy with the sound Quality in relationship to the price.
